The ACEC CA Bay Bridge Chapter (BBC) is committed to providing a safe and welcome environment for all
at our events. All those who attend are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and
misconduct of any nature will not be tolerated and is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited
to, the following:
- Unwanted physical contact, unwelcome attention, pestering, stalking;
- Inappropriate behavior or comments toward another due to gender, race, sexual orientation, disability, etc.
- Abusive or violent behavior toward any person
- Heckling, badgering or interrupting any speaker, event or session
- An indication that the person attending is under the heavy influence of drugs or alcohol
If you are an attendee and experience or notice any harassment or misconduct, please notify a Chapter
Board Member or Committee Member. Those persons will be asked to raise their hands and identify
themselves at the start of any event. Should a Chapter Board Member or Committee Member become aware of a violation of this policy, they
may act as they deem appropriate, including but not limited to the following:
- Change seats
- Removal of that person from the event
- Prohibiting attendance at future events
- Bring to the attention of ACEC CA for potential disciplinary action
By purchasing a ticket to or attending any of our events, you are agreeing to our policy and the
enforcement of it, if necessary.
