SSA Terminals, LLC (SSA) is releasing a Request for Proposals for their EPA Clean Ports Project, Oakland International Container Terminal (OICT) will be accepting bids until Friday, September 18, 2026.
The work of this 530 calendar day (18 month) project consists, in general, of furnishing all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, services, and supervision required for the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the installation of forty-two (42) heavy-duty EV chargers, associated electrical equipment, underground conduits, vaults, cabling, switchboards, panelboards, transformers, as well as modifications to existing switchgear. Additional work includes site preparation, grading, pavement restoration, security fencing, lighting, and any necessary testing and commissioning to ensure the successful operation of the EV charging infrastructure.
