American Council of Engineering Companies – California (ACEC CA) is a 50+ year, nonprofit association of private consulting engineering and land surveying firms. As a statewide organization, we are dedicated to enhancing the consulting engineering and land surveying professions, protecting the general public, and promoting use of the private sector in the growth and development of our state.
Member firms provide services for all phases of planning, designing, and constructing projects.
We serve over 20 different disciplines of engineering, land surveying and geologists. We are the largest state organization of the ACEC and are dedicated to building a better California.

The ACEC CA Bay Bridge Chapter (BBC) also has an Affiliate Membership is for firms that do not furnish independent consulting engineering or land surveying, but whose business is related to the work of our firms and industry. Affiliate Membership is a great opportunity to network with other ACEC CA member firms, work on industry and regional initiatives, and contribute to the ACEC CA goal of building a better California.
The BBC was formed over two decades ago. Companies that are members of ACEC CA provide services for all phases of planning, designing and constructing projects. Member services include civil, structural, geotechnical, environmental, electrical and mechanical engineering and land surveying for all types of public works, residential, commercial and industrial projects
